The Bass Bins of History

Here it is, the most famous bass speaker in history; King Tubby's Hometown Hi-Fi! It's unbelievable that it went for only $617 on ebay. I'm sure the resin that you could scrape off this monster would be worth more than that! If only we could have convinced Wayne to buy this for the smiling Buddha then we could really shake the foundations of Dundas West.

Next monday we are set to light up the dancefloor for James Lindsay's Bday Bash. If you haven't already picked up a copy of James' incredible Issue zine (http://www.myspace.com/issuezine)this may be your last chance to grab one before they're all gone. We're also expecting another James to DJ, but we're all a little dubious after a flake out last time. I for one hope he makes it; he's always running up to me and telling me what MF DOOM track samples my spins, and I can't wait to hear his special herbs. That man knows his hiphopstory!

We're also putting a show together April 9th that will feature The Domestic Front (Chicago/Belsona Strategic), Arc (Aidain Baker/Nadja) & Tropical Disease (yours truly!/Bien Victor). Hopefully there will be another Toronto improv band on the bill, but I'll wait until I get confirmation to announce it. The show will cost $5, a small price to pay for hours of sonic bliss!

We are all astronauts in love!
