Thanks to Ian & Simone who gave an amazing performance monday night! Their set twanged with intimacy and country-fried humour. They sang ballads with timeless themes of love, sexual failure, war & economic displacement giving them a real sweaty immediacy. Drivin' Homer through Woody Guthry!
